Hayley is featured in this new poster for ‘The Pride’ courtesy Digital Spy. Philip, Oliver and Sylvia exist in a love triangle which spans over half a century, living and loving simultaneously in 1958 and the present against a background of changing attitudes towards homosexuality. Past and present worlds grind together and melt apart, yet the future and its promise of sexual liberation remains ever elusive, as societal repression gives way to self-deception.
Entertainment weekly released this gorgeous photo of Hayley for their Comic-Con portrait series in which she posed for them for ‘Agent Carter’. I love it!
I’ve added screencaptures of Hayley from the ‘Agent Carter’ clip that EW released. I am so excited to see this, Hayley looks gorgeous and I love that she’s kicking butt! Thanks to my friend Jennifer for grabbing the video for the site! I’ll have screencaptures up from the Comic-Con interview tomorrow!
The cast of ‘Agent Carter’ sat down with Entertainment Weekly to talk about their short film. Unfortunately I cannot embed the video but you can view the interview by clicking the photo below.
I’ve uploaded some stunning new photos of Hayley attending last night’s screening of Marvel One-Shot ‘Agent Carter‘ at Comic-Con to the gallery. She looked just beautiful! Be sure to head over to the gallery and take a look.
Thanks to Total Film, one of the first reactions to ‘Agent Carter‘ is now available – and judging by their review, we have a lot to look forward to! The article does contain some spoilers, especially towards the end so please be aware of that before reading under the cut.
The latest in Marvel’s One-Shot series of companion shorts, to be included on the DVD and Blu-Ray of Iron Man 3 out in September 2013, features Captain America’s main squeeze Agent Peggy Carter. Total Film was lucky enough to be part of the very first audience to see the short entitled Marvel’s One-Shot: Agent Carter.
Below is a breakdown of the action – beware of spoilers.
We open with the scene in Captain America: The First Avenger where Steve Rogers bids his final farewell to Peggy Carter as his plane disappears out of sight.
Entertainment Weekly have released an exclusive new clip from Marvel One Shot ‘Agent Carter‘. Unfortunately I am unable to embed the video, but the clip itself can be viewed here at the EW site. Be sure to stay tuned for updates from Comic-Con throughout the day!
Agent Carter has been activated.
Marvel Studios premiered the latest in its One-Shot series of shorts at San Diego’s Comic-Con tonight, and Entertainment Weekly has the exclusive clip.
The action-noir story picks up with British operative Peggy Carter just a year after Captain America: The First Avenger left off, with Hayley Atwell’s character now working in New York for the watchdog group that will eventually become S.H.I.E.L.D.
The problem is that Carter is stuck with a desk job, doing the kind of busywork her chauvinist boss (The West Wing’s Bradley Whitford) thinks is suitable for a woman.
Then one night when the office is empty except for her, a call comes in. A voice (provided by Iron Man 3 director Shane Black) tells her that the enigmatic “Zodiac” has been located, and three to five agents are necessary. Agent Carter ventures off to find it on her own.
With thanks to EW we have our very first look at Hayley reprising her role for the Marvel One-Shot ‘Agent Carter’! A poster and two stills were released and added to the gallery. If you’ll be attending Comic-Con 2013, you can attend the short’s premiere Friday, Jul. 19. If you won’t be at the Con, ‘Agent Carter’ will be on the ‘Iron Man 3’ Blu-ray, which hits shelves Sep. 24.
Directed by Louis D’Esposito, ‘Agent Carter’ will follow Peggy Carter’s career in the spy organization SSR, which would later morph into S.H.I.E.L.D. “It’s a year since Cap plunged into the ocean,” D’Esposito told EW. “And in our mind, we said there’s a few SSR offices … There’s some satellite offices in New York and right now their primary concern is getting Zodiac,” which all we know is “it’s deadly, it’s important, bad guys are guarding it, and it’s imperative she gets it.” Another familiar face featured in ‘Agent Carter’ is Dominic Cooper’s reprised Howard Stark ‘Captain America.’
Photos of Hayley attending the world premiere of ‘The World’s End’ have been added to the gallery with thanks to Ann!
Here’s an event that I seem to have missed! On July 6th, Hayley attended the Barclaycard UNWIND VIP Lounge at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time at Hyde Park in London. I absolutely love Hayley’s outfit, it’s so cute and Hayley looks so fresh and adorable (as always!) Check the photos out below and enjoy!
